As we all know, legendary professional wrestler and 24 time world heavyweight champion Rick "The Nature Boy" Flair was kicked out of a Pizzeria and Bar over the weekend, sparking controversy around the world and throughout the media.
The restaurant issued a statement saying he was "proud" of his staff, and they acted professionally during Flair's drunken intoxicated tirade.
Recently, The Nature Boy sat down with Q105 - Hits of the 80's and more! (myq105.com) and expressed regret over the ordeal.
"It just escalated and I was wrong for getting mad, but I kind of felt like I was defending my position."
Flair also backtracked on his scathing review of the eatery, admitting he enjoyed his time and the meal there before things went sideways.
Basically, The Nature Boy was accused of peeping into the stall while the kitchen manager was taking a dump, and the kitchen manager was taken too long.
"Then the kitchen manager had him thrown out for being a 'Peeping Ric' ",
a source failure with the situation told THE BLAKE MOIA SHOW. He added:
"Alcohol was definitely a factor, he was hammered."
Flair admits on the radio show that he only consumed Michelob ultras and "probably" a couple mixed drinks.
"I was wrong for losing my temper."
"When I feel like I'm put in that area where I'm uncomfortable and all of a sudden everything just fell apart, I got upset."
"I was wrong for getting upset. I probably just should have just walked out the door, but it caught me so off-guard because we were having a wonderful time. Then all of a sudden ... someone in their kitchen said I did something wrong in the bathroom and there's no one there except me and him."
