Sergeant Jeff Bellinger Graduates the FDLE Leadership Class #57

Congratulations to one of our favorite people ever, Sgt. Jeff Bellinger, of the Brevard County Sheriff's office, for graduating the prestigious Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) class of 2024!

"Sgt. B", as we call him, is a true leader and a role model that the citizens of Brevard County can trust.

The Brevard County Sheriff announced on Facebook today that the FDLE leadership class 4-week class that discusses leadership, accountability, communication, and professionalism and is taught by law enforcement instructors from all experiences and backgrounds in the profession.

"I could not be more proud of Sgt. Jeff Bellinger, Sgt. Josh Williams, and Sgt. Crystal Idleburgh for representing our agency in this capacity and their desire to learn and strengthen their abilities as leaders within our agency!!", Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey said.

"The Brevard County Sheriff's Office had 3 team members accepted into this session who trained alongside members of various other agencies throughout the state of Florida", the Sheriff said.

Sgt. B is a long-time veteran of the Brevard Sheriff's Office. He was hired when Jack Parker was still the sheriff way back in the day. He worked in several specialty units, including narcotics and the wanted fugitive unit. He was even featured as a deputy on the Hit-Show "COPS" on Fox when their camera crews filmed in the county.

No nonsense, Sgt. B is the leader that we all need and look up to in Brevard County. He's someone we can all look up to.  He's actually a really good cop, unlike Officer Proctor.
