D' Jae Carpenter is in jail again today after being arrested for a third time this year. This time -- for robbery and possession of drugs.
This is not the only time she has made an appearance on The Blake Moia Show.
According to the arrest report, Miss Carpenter was in an altercation with another woman at the Dollar General on University Blvd. This area of Melbourne is also called "The Hood" and is a notorious location.
The victim provided a sworn statement to police saying that the suspect grabbed the victim by the neck, stole her Moto G phone and $80 from her while looking for her friend.
The suspect said "Bitch, I'm not playing", and struck the victim in the face with a closed fist. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect "ground and pounded" the victim. The suspect grabbed the items and fled on foot.
Authorities arrived at another location to meet with the victim who had dry blood running for her nose. The victim was able to identify the suspect, who was identified as D'Jae Carpenter and was described as homeless and living in the woods nearby the victim's tent.
The victim provided police a description and location of Carpenter's tent in the woods via Google Maps.
Police searched the area however yielded negative results.
Miss Carpenter was eventually located and arrested at the Dollar General on University Blvd. She was taken to the Brevard County Jail and the judge issued a 15,000 bond.
In an earlier case from April of this year, Mis Carpenter pleaded Guilty and spent 4 days in Jail for Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.
Her other case for Trafficking Drugs, is still pending. Her next court date is a Docket Sounding for Aug 14 at 9am.
She also has an arraignment set for Sep. 5, in Viera for this fresh new charge.
