Lucious Scott, Jr., a violent felon, was sentenced to more than 12 years in Federal Prison for his role in distributing drugs to an undercover confidential federal informant.

According to a press statement released by Federal prosecutors in Orlando, Lucious Scott, Jr. plead guilty to distributing drugs and narcotics during a court hearing in December. He was sentenced today at 12 years locked inside Federal prison.
Authorities say Lucious sold the illegal drugs to a federal confidential informant on 4 occasions, which lead to his arrest and conviction.
According to documents, when SWAT team members executed a search warrant at Lucious's residence, they discovered 2 loaded firearms and a large quantity of pure Methamphetamine. Federal authorizes say he sold more than 1,428 grams of Meth to the undercover source.
On May 10, 2022, Lucious Scott, and Richard L. Lakes, were apprehended with assistance from Brevard County Sheriff’s Office’s Game Over Task Force relating to the fatal shooting at Off The Traxx Bar and Night Club in Downtown Melbourne on March 6, 2024. The bar has since closed down.
Later, on April 8th, Melbourne Police were called to the 3300 Block of Testimony Street in regard to reports that someone was shot with an AR-15 rifle. Police linked Lucious Scott, Jr. to the crimes and he was charged with attempted murder, amongst other crimes.
