BREAKING! 2024 ELECTION NIGHT RESULTS!

November 5th, 2024 - TheBlakeMoiaShow.com

It's election night! That means the American people have officially spoken. Tonight, we take a look at some of the important races and some amendments that were on the ballot.

Amendment 3: The legalization of marijuana. The amendment allows adults 21 years or older to possess, purchase, or use marijuana products and marijuana accessories for non-medical personal consumption by smoking, ingestion, or otherwise; allows Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers, and other state licensed entities, to acquire, cultivate, process, manufacture, sell, and distribute such products and accessories. The new law, if approved by voters, applies to Florida law and does not change, or immunize violations of, federal law. The new law will also establish possession limits for personal use.

Tens of millions of dollars have been spent for and against the amendment.  Blake Moia voted no for approval. However, he is still for medical marijuana - just not recreationally.

The admendment looks like it will NOT pass.  The bill, which was poorly written, needed 60% of the votes for approval, only received 55% of the vote. 44% voted pf the Florida population voted against the proposal.

If passed, insurance would have skyrocketed significantly due to all the additional liability risks.

The Florida Abortion Bill Fails with Florida Voters

The Florida voters also rejected the abortion proposal which would have allowed for late-term abortions.

Voters also overwhelmingly approved a bill that allows for Floridians to hunt and fish without certain restrictions.

Melbourne Mayor and City Council

Melbourne Mayor Paul Alfrey won his re-election campaign in Brevard's hottest contested election.

"The People's Mayor", Mayor Alfrey, who was eventually endorsed by The Blake Moia Show, faced a PAC (Political Action Committee) which was funded by a multi-millionaire.  According the Alfrey, the PAC was upset about the closing down of the Daily Bread - which fed the homeless people in own.  The homeless eventually, for the most part, vacated the city limits after the city enacted ordinances in regard to pan handling in the streets within the city limits.

David Neuman won city council seat 3 after defeating Democrat Kendra Thompson.

Liberal Democrat Mimi Hanley, an Ixora Park resident, defeated fellow Democrat Samantha Nazario for city council seat 5.

"Deadbeat" Donnie Felix lost his Palm Bay City Council seat in a major upset against "Hammer Time"  Richard Hammer.  Deadbeat Donnie earned his reputation after it was discovered that he failed to pay taxes, child support and was directly responsible for the dumping of over 500,000 gallons of toxic raw sewage directly into the Indian River Lagoon.  The City of Palm Bay has not taken appropriate steps in order to properly ensure their infrastructure is fully maintained and upgraded.
