Numerous House Democrats are being shamed after voting against a bill seeking to deport illegal immigrants convicted of sex-related crimes.
The House held a vote Wednesday on Rep. Nancy Mace’s (Republican from South Carolina) “Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act,” which seeks to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to state “aliens who have been convicted of or who have committed sex offenses or domestic violence are inadmissible and deportable.”
The move comes after Republicans nationwide are calling for the Southern border to be closed completely.
Rep. Nancy Mace said, "We introduced H.R.7909 because every woman killed or assaulted is one too many, especially by an illegal who shouldn't be here in the first place. If this Administration won't protect women or learn from the MANY cases of Americans murdered by illegal aliens, we sure as hell will".
Rep. Mace hailed the passage of H.R. 7909 in a press release, stating, “We are fed up with headlines about women losing their lives or becoming victims of assailants who trespassed into our country illegally under the Biden-Harris border crisis.”
“This legislation sends a strong message: if you are an illegal who has committed acts of violence against women, you will not find sanctuary here.”
America First Legal’s Stephen Miller noted radical Dems are so far-left, they’re placing open-border immigration policies over protecting women and children.
“A political party so radicalized it blocks the deportation of illegal alien sex predators is unworthy of any role in government,” Miller wrote. “This is far, far beyond the realm of acceptable policy disagreement. Democrats are privileging migrant sex criminals over American women and children.”
Others on social media expressed similar sentiments towards Dems’ disregard for Americans’ safety.
