Volusia County Sheriff says, "I will post your little cherub up and if I can I will perp walk him with shackles on and parade him all around the media cameras. And then they will film the parents when they go to pick up their child from lockup. That way everyone can see what your kids are up to."

Authorities arrested a Creekside Middle School student who made threats to commit a school shooting at Creekside or Silver Sands Middle School on Monday.
The child claims that "it was a joke". Law enforcement and others aren't laughing. Instead, the child ended up being put into handcuffs and made to wear shackles on his ankles.
Video posted to the Sheriff Mike Chitwood's Facebook page shows the boy being escorted to jail with handcuffs on, being fitted with ankle restraints and being locked inside a cage where he sat until law enforcement completed paperwork.
The Sheriff says the boy even had a hand-written list of potential targets, an entire collection of air pistols, a sawed-off shotgun, knifes, swords and a sling shot which were recovered by authorities.
Poolice say the boy's father purchased the weapons.
The Sheriff's Office identified 11-year-old Carlo "Kingston" Dorelli of Volusia County and charged him when a felony count of making written threats to kill.
There is no word on any motive.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood told reporters Monday, "I can and will release the names and photos of juveniles who are committing these felonies, threatening our students, disrupting our schools and consuming law enforcement resources. You can expect video coming up next."
He also says the cameras will be rolling when the parents show up when they pick their little cherubs up from lock up.
"That way everyone can see what your kids are up to. If you're not going to raise your kids, I will."
The Sheriff said that over the weekend, there was a total of over 60 threats made regarding school shootings which were reported into Crimeline. "All of them were bogus", the Sheriff said. "We have one in custody right now. And we are also going to charge the parents as well."

In a media release posted Monday, the Cocoa Beach Police Department’s School Resource Officer became aware of an electronic threat to conduct a school shooting. The student identified as a 13-year-old male, was immediately located and removed from class. Detectives with the Cocoa Beach Police Department, with the assistance of staff at the Cocoa Beach Jr. Sr. High School investigated the incident and confirmed the electronic threat and subsequently took the juvenile into custody for Electronic Threats to Conduct a Mass Shooting.
No further details are available as the investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement has determined that there are no threats to the school or public.

On Tuesday, Police say they evacuated Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School due to a suspicious incident. Students at this time are safe and do not need to be picked up.
