ROCKLEDGE, FL --
A 19-year-old was jailed on Sunday after authorities say he refused to stop for Rockledge Police.
Police say Isiah Gilbert was spotted speeding along Murrell Road in Rockledge and instead of stopping when officers got behind him, he took off in his 2013 Lincoln 4-door sedan.
Other officers joined the pursuit which lasted several miles and ended up on U.S.1 before ending at a subdivision.
Guilbert was ordered out of the vehicle by officers and was taken to jail on a $1,000 felony bond.
His next court appearance is January 30th, at 8am in Viera in front of Judge Michell Baker.
