PALM BAY, FL  --

A convicted felon is behind bars again today, after he was caught with trafficking amounts of drugs and a loaded firearm.

Palm Bay police say they pulled over a white Chevy Malibu at the intersection of Eldron Blvd. and Jupiter Road for running a red light.

Upon approaching the vehicle, officers could smell marijuana coming from the car.

Police say, the suspect gave them a phony name and was not able to provide a social security number.

According to the arrest affidavit, the backup Sgt. noticed a marijuana grinder with a green leafy substance in plain view.

While officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, they found the suspect's Florida Identification Card.
