THE BREVARD COUNTY JAIL, FL  --

Brevard County officials have arrested 2 people on New Years Day for failure to register at the Sheriff's Office as a sex offender.

Jaydon Ogden --

Jaydon Odgen, of 355 Pine Avenue, Cocoa, Florida, was picked up by the fugitive unit after failing to report to the Sheriff's Office as a convicted sex offender. He is listed by the State of Florida as a VIOLENT SEXUAL PREDATOR.

In September of 2024, Odgen stole an electronic E-bike, at the VFW which belonged to a veteran. Records say Odgen moved to Brevard after being convicted of sexual offenses in Nevada. He was previously arrested for failure to disclose that he's a sexual offender and resisting arrest.

Harry Ransom Joiner --

The Brevard County Fugitive Unit picked up Harry R. Joiner over the weekend after authorities issued a warrant out for his arrest back in June of 2024. State officials declared that Joiner is deemed as a violent sexual offender for a sexual assault conviction in Texas back in October 1997.

Joiner is listed as a "transient" and does not have a permanent living address. He was previously convicted in Brevard on robbery charges and served 60 months in Florida State Prison. He is sitting at the Brevard County Jail on a $21,000 bond.

Prior to this incident, Joiner was previously out on bond awaiting trial for an incident at an Exxon Gas Station. Joiner walked into the gas station and asked to use the restroom. When told that only paying customers can use the restroom, Joiner proceeded to urinate on a stack of bottled water. He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief by the Rockledge Police Department.
