VIERA, FL --
The Blake Moia Show received an e-mail sent by a concerned citizen yesterday. The email states there's an old mercedes parked in the media of the roadway. The concerned citizen writes that he "was dismayed—no, appalled—to witness an egregious act of disregard for our town’s decorum. At the end of Wickham Road, near its intersection with Pineda, someone has parked a Mercedes on the median with the obvious intent of selling it."
The concerned citizen continues, "This is not just about one car. It’s about the principles that keep our community pristine and respected. If we allow this travesty to continue, what’s next? Golf carts? Rusted-out sedans? Dare I say it—cars driven by people who couldn’t possibly afford to live in Viera? Our medians will devolve into unsightly used car lots, destroying the carefully manicured aesthetics that make our town the envy of the region."
The concerned citizen has a good point. Do we want our beautiful roadways - particularly in the nicer areas of town -- to be littered with cars for sale? Are our public roadways supposed to be used car sale lots? Nobody wants to see an eyesore. How can these old vehicles for sale be certified that they even work properly? Are they scams?
We have asked county officials for an explanation and are waiting to hear back. We asked officials if these vehicles can be towed. Stay tuned as we work to provide answers.
TheBlakeMoiaShow.com is committed to the safe streets of Melbourne by regularly and routinely reporting on dangerous and violent criminals who cause chaos and havoc within our community.
