SAFE: Reported Missing 13-year-Old Girl Finally Found Safe at a Home in Melbourne; Several in Custody

MELBOURNE, FL --
The parents of a missing 13-year-old girl have located their child tonight after reports of her hiding at a home in Melbourne.
Avrey Rice was first reported missing by her stepfather on Thursday, January 30th after she failed to come home from school.
A public plea for help with a generous reward of $10,000 was posted and then later doubled to $20,000. With much concern, Facebook sleuths, social media users and the community began giving suggestions, tip and were working together in trying to help locate the missing child.
A credible tip lead the parents of the missing 13-year-old to 3448 Pheasant Ct. just off of Croton Road in Melbourne.
Reports say Melbourne Police initially failed to take action however pushback and pressure from local community members, family and friends prompted a heavy police response to the residence. The police were able to assemble a rescue team and managed to get several people out of the house.
The child was later found hiding in a "trap door" located in the residence.
The unidentified 15-year-old boyfriend of the missing 13-year-old was under the microscope during the course of the investigation. Online speculation, tips and leads ultimately lead investigators to the boyfriends' grandma's house in Melbourne.
It remains unclear tonight if anyone faces charges for interference of child custody. We are waiting for Police to provide more answers as well as any booking photos and arrest reports.
