- Witnesses described a white Lincoln colliding with an SUV "flying" into the air and rolling over

08:30pm 04/24/2025 -- Melbourne Fire Department crews use the 'Jaws of Life' to help extract 2 crash victims.
All lanes of Wickham Road at Sarno in Melbourne were shut down around 8pm Thursday evening after a white Lincoln car collided with a black Nissan SUV.
As both vehicles were traveling south on Wickham, the Lincoln car "flew into the air" after colliding with the SUV and rolled over several feet before coming to a rest, a witness told The Blake Moia Show.
The Blake Moia Show cameras were at the scene and caught 2 people being rescued by the jaws of life and being extracted out of the Nissan SUV and taken to the hospital.
It was reported that the SUV did not have its headlights on at the time of the crash.

Fire department crews helped the victims out of the SUV using the 'Jaws of Life" and were transported to the hospital.
The road was reopened after hours of being shut down.
The Melbourne Police Department Traffic Unit is now investigating.
