Melbourne Arson Suspect Who Set Fire to Three Houses Identified as 35-Year-Old Michael Randolph

EAU GALLIE, Fla -- Melbourne Police have identified 35-year-old Michael Randolph as the person who set ablaze 3 houses in the north end of Eau Gallie a few nights ago.

On April 24, 2024 at 2107 hours, Officers Alabise and Phillin responded to the scene after 911 calls for help were made. They were advised by 3 victim homeowners that Mr. Randolph had set fire to their homes after an argument between neighbors has occurred.

Officers learned that the arson suspect had been making threats towards the neighbors regarding loud, dangerous reckless driving. He allegedly was yelling across the street, "If I get in trouble for anything, I will kill you!"

A K-9 Police dog was deployed to help find the suspect as he ran on foot east bound. Officers quickly found him a short time later and apprehended Mr. Randolph near the rail-road tracks.  He is being held at the Brevard County Jail on 91,000$ bond.
