BREVARD COUNTY, Fla -- Brevard County Sheriff's Deputies on patrol in the area of 2700 Lake Drive in Cocoa when they spotted 45-year-old Sean Colbertson trespassing on private property.  Mr. Colbertson immediately ran off further onto the private property when given commands to meet with the officers.  The deputies gave chase and a short time later after a perimeter was set up, took the suspect into custody.

The deputies had a private property enforcement affidavit signed by the property owner to enforce trespassing laws.

Upon being placed in handcuffs, the suspect was determined to be a registered sexual offender from a case in 2006 where he was adjudicated as Guilty for Kidnapping, Sexual Assault and Battery.  Court documents from 2006 say the suspect forced an unnamed female victim to perform oral sex on him after grabbing her by the hair.

Upon release from custody, all sexual offenders are required to report their new address.  On this new case, Mr. Colbertson's address is listed as "homeless".  He is being held on multiple counts of Violating his probation as a result of these new charges, and failing to report in.  He is being held in jail on no bond.
