Hernando County, Florida -- The Blake Moia Show Aug 22, 2024, 11pm
Wild video tonight shows a dangerous and wild pursuit of a man driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle erratically.
The driver, who was driving on a 3rd subsequent suspension of his license, initially drove through a no passing zone and weaving in and out of traffic right in front of the Trooper.
"The driver first indicated that he was going to pull over on Wiscon Road, just east of Medical Park Lane, but instead, the motorcycle continued and accelerated, initiating a pursuit", Troopers say.

Troopers say the motorcycle traveled at a high rate of speed in a reckless manner, showing a wanton disregard for other drivers on the roadway as it continued eastbound on Wiscon Road towards U.S. Highway 41 where he ran the red light and maneuvered to avoid Troopers attempts to stop the motorcycle.
The dangerous chase continued through several busy intersections, streets and backroads before the motorcyclist finally began to slow down and yell "I'm done!"
The biker suddenly accelerated rapidly westbound on State Road 50 and continued until it reached the intersection of State Road 50 and Cortez Boulevard, where another Trooper joined the pursuit as backup.
Trooper Rozzell then accelerated and took over the pursuit at State Road 50 at Emerson Road, where Troopers attempted to slow the motorcycle down by boxing it in on the grassy shoulder. However, the driver maneuvered around Trooper Rozzell’s marked Florida Highway Patrol unit and ignoring authorities.
The pursuit continued westbound onto east Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at a high rate of speed.
Troopers quickly caught up to the unidentified motorcyclist to box the motorcycle in again on E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near the intersection of Ellington Avenue. The motorcycle accelerated around Trooper Rozzell’s vehicle on the north shoulder of E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and continued westbound until Trooper Rozzell was able to get in front of the motorcycle and slow down, forcing the driver to reduce speed.
Authorities were able to make the motorcycle come to a complete stop using a series of maneuvers.
Troopers say the motorcycle rider came to a complete stop and was still upright and sitting on the motorcycle.
"Trooper Rozzell and I then detained the driver, who was escorted off the motorcycle and placed under arrest at approximately 7:59 P.M. on 07/16/2024", according to the police report.
The driver was arrested for fleeing to elude with lights and sirens activated at a high rate of speed, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended or revoked license, 3rd subsequent violation.
He was taken to the hospital before he was cleared for jail.
